JAMMU, Nov 28: To aware the employers’ as well as the employees under ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0′, awareness programmes at various places were organised here today.
In this regard a programme was organised at Reasi. Which was inaugurated by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Rizwan Uddin.
Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan Uddin explained the importance of social security in today’s scenario.
He highlighted the key features of the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976. These two prominent social security schemes are being extended to workers in J&K and Ladakh from November, 2019.
He also discussed the features of these schemes in detail.
During the workshop P F Commissioner Rizwan Uddin along with DNO Sanjeev Kumar heard the issues being faced by the establishments and employees.
A hand holding and interactive session continued for another hour in which various stakeholders went live and learnt how to deal with the problems faced by them and issues and problems by the organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act. 1952 were heard and advised to take necessary actions accordingly.
P F Commissioner thanked Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan for elaborate arrangements and facilitating successful organization of the event “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” at Reasi.
Reenu Bala, Assistant Labour Commissioner of Reasi was present in the Programme including other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, similar programmes under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme were also held at Little Angels Higher Secondary School, Kathua, Rangreth Industrial Area, Budgam and Moravian Mission School, Karzu, Leh.
