JAMMU, Nov 29: The Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has demanded release of 4 % Dearness Allowance ( DA) of the employees and pensioners due to July this year.
A meeting of the Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khujuria, in which the different issues of the Government employees came under discussion. The main focus was on the DA instalment of 4% which is due since July-2023.
Khajuria expressed his anguish over the pathetic condition of the employees arisen due to the apathetical approach of the higher authorities towards the release of D.A instalment in favour of UT Government employees and pensioners. He said the inflation rate is very high and Government employees are striving hard to fulfil the daily needs of their families. He appealed to the higher authorities to pay special attention towards the issue of DA instalment of 4% and announce the same without any further delay.
