Relief Organisation holding camps in Delhi: GKPD

NEW DELHI, Dec 1: Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD) today said that to extend the facility of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY-Sehat, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner along with his team is holding camps at different places in Delhi NCR so that the Ayushmaan cards will be issued to the JK UT domicile holders on the spot.
In a statement issued here today its coordinator for North India Kashi Akhoon said the Ayushman Bharat PMJAY-Sehat scheme announced a few years back by Prime Minister, Narinder Modi for residents of Jammu and Kashmir was not being extended to Kashmiri Hindus who have migrated to different parts of the country outside Jammu and Kashmir.
He said GKPD discussed this issue many times with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants Jammu and raised this issue several occasions through media deliberations.
GKPD however showed its satisfaction that due to its constant efforts and constant persuasion of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, this facility has been extended to all the Kashmiri displaced people who have migrated to other parts of the country.
