JAMMU, Jan 23: Thieves decamped with 10 tolas gold from a car parked outside a banquet in Gadigarh.
As per police sources, some unidentified thieves broke open the boot of car bearing registration number JK02BA-8448 on Gadigarh-Chatha road and decamped with a trunk containing 10 tolas gold jewellery and other items.
Owner of the car Ashok Kumar of Barnai found the car’s boot broken and the trunk containing 10 tolas gold items missing and later informed the police.
On getting information, police team from Gadigarh police post rushed to the spot.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Satwari police station and investigation started.
