JAMMU, Jan 23: A road accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today.
As per reports, Sumit Gupta, son of Subash Gupta of Gangyal was seriously injured in motorcycle-scooty collision at Trikuta Nagar on January 19.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries today.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard stands registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a woman namely Pardeep Kour of Digiana received injuries after being hit by a Scooty at Digiana.
She was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
Police has taken the cognizance.
