SRINAGAR, Dec 5: On the auspicious occasion of Kalbhairav Ashtami, the Trika Gurukul was inaugurated today in a grand ceremony held at Shurayar Temple, Sonwar.
Hosted by the All PMP Employees Welfare Association Srinagar Kashmir (APWASK), the event marked a significant milestone dedicated to the teachings of Kashmir Shaivism.
The ceremony commenced at 11:30 AM, featuring an enlightening experience highlighting the essence of Trika philosophy, encapsulating the pursuit of eternal serenity and the glory of Kashmir Shaivism.
GOC 31 Sub Area, PBS Lamba was chief guest on the occasion while the occasion was also graced by Swami Gurunath Moksha Ji, Swami Medananda Nath Ji, Sunil Vashisht and Amit Koul (president APWASK) and Ashwani from Budgam transit camp.
The event witnessed captivating presentations such as Hitakshi Dhar’s Ganesh Stuti and Manesh’s daughter Ojasvi Dhar’s Geeta Shloak, drawing appreciation from all the guests.
On the occasion, Swami Gurunath Moksha honoured eminent personalities including Sanjay Raina (social activist), Amit Koul (president APWASK) and priest of Shurayar Temple for their contributions.
The event culminated with Karuna inviting all devotees to receive warm blankets, extending special thanks to the chief guest and Guru Ji for their support in fortifying the roots of Trika in Kashmir Valley.
This historic event witnessed a convergence of devotees and marked a significant step in reviving the essence of Kashmir Shaivism through the establishment of Trika Gurukul.
