UDHAMPUR, Dec 5: In an apparent case of suicide, a BSF recruit was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at BSF Training Center Udhampur.
According to the police report, Modi Madhu Reddy (24), son of Modi Paddaeswara Rao, resident of village Narasapuram, Tehsil Siripuram, Andhra Pradesh, was founded hanging from a ceiling fan hook at BSF Training Center Udhampur under mysterious circumstances.
Other Jawan saw him hanging and immediately called the higher authority who informed the Police Station Udhampur. SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh rushed to the spot and took the dead body to the District Hospital in Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities. Later, the body was handed over to the of BSF authority Udhampur.
According to the BSF Training Center officials, the deceased had joined the training centre 10 day back. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
Police have registered the case Under Section 174 CrPC for further investigation.
