JAMMU, Dec 6: In a significant stride towards holistic development, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has unfolded across multiple districts, creating a transformative impact on communities.
The extensive initiative, dedicated to reaching the unreached and saturating Government schemes, has witnessed enthusiastic participation and support.
In Jammu District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra special van reached Panchayat Sunjwan Upper of Block Satwari amid a warm welcome by the members of the Swagat Committee, Block Development Officer Satwari, Sandeep Kumar Gupta and PRI members in presence of officials of line departments and local public.
The VBSY Van spread the message of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of Independence.
The van displayed a video message of the PM, urging the people to take a pledge to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. The people present at the event took the Sankalp (pledge) and expressed their commitment to the cause.
The VBSY successfully completed its visit to five Panchayats in Samba District, emphasizing the instrumental role played by the IEC van in disseminating information and raising awareness about various schemes.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued in full swing in Kathua District, where it reached the far-off Panchayats of Lohai Malhar and Duggan Blocks of Kathua district.
Today, 8 Panchayats of Lohai Malhar and Duggan Blocks were covered under VBSY which included Nelhew, Thalla Upper, Thalla lower, Malhar, Surjan Chack, Chaloga, and Bari.
There, people in huge numbers thronged the venues to listen to the message of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the 11th day, the VBSY made significant strides in Udhampur District, covering 10 more Panchayats in Chenani, Panchari, Dudu, Ramnagar, Udhampur, and Majalta Blocks. The day featured health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities.
The VBSY traversed six Panchayat Halqas in Chassana, Thuroo, Panthal, and Bhomag blocks of Reasi District, leaving a significant impact on participants. The day featured health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities.
In Rajouri, the VBSY reached various Panchayats, ensuring comprehensive coverage of Government schemes. An IEC van played a pivotal role in engaging with local communities and equipping them with knowledge to benefit from the initiatives.
In Poonch District, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) reached two Panchayats of block Sathra to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes in every nook and corner of the Block.
IEC Vans accorded a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in eight Panchayats.
Under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, officials engaged people with knowledge enriching audio-video material displayed on screen mounted on IEC Van.
The VBSY camp in District Doda, at Panchayat Bijarni Lower A, aimed to maximize the saturation of flagship Government schemes. The event included the Viksit Bharat Pledge, awareness activities, and interactions with beneficiaries.
Today marked the initiation of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in block Paddar of district Kishtwar, as the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Vans arrived at Panchayats Jar and Affani.

As a part of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, awareness programmes continues in Srinagar District to empower the people by making them aware about the Government sponsored flagship programmes.
As per a statement, the Horticulture Department Srinagar set up awareness camps in Khonmoh Block of Srinagar District.
During the camps held at Panchayas of Khonmoh Block, the officers of the line departments underscored the importance of bringing Government schemes closer to communities, igniting a spirit of development and reach the unreached beneficiaries.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commenced in Pulwama, covering 10 Panchayats, with a grand function under Deputy Commissioner Dr Basharat Qayoom at Pinglena.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the program’s success hinging on public participation, urging all to seize the opportunity for a developed Bharat by 2047.
In Shopian, Deputy Commissioner Faz Lul Haseeb and SSP Tanushree visited Chitragam tehsil, inspecting stalls showcasing beneficiary-oriented schemes.
The DC highlighted the Yatra’s goal of connecting with people, making them aware of Government schemes, and interacting with beneficiaries.
Kupwara District experienced a surge in the VBSY, covering 22 Panchayats. DC Ayushi Sudan presided over a mega event, inspecting stalls and taking the Viksit pledge along with officers and the public.
The Yatra garnered an enthusiastic response, with residents engaging in various activities and initiatives.
The VBSY continued its momentum in Kulgam, reaching 11 more Panchayats in the Qaimoo block on the 12th day.
ACD Mohammad Imran Khan supervised activities, spreading awareness about Government schemes and encouraging registrations for employment and welfare-based initiatives.
Baramulla witnessed a remarkable display of community engagement through the VBSY, aiming to illuminate residents about ongoing Government welfare schemes.
The initiative covered blocks and Panchayats of Sub-Division Sopore, with IEC vans showcasing vital beneficiary schemes.
The VBSY reached 10 more Panchayats of District Bandipora, sensitizing people and saturating Centrally Sponsored Schemes. IEC Vans received a warm welcome, engaging residents with audio-visual material on Government schemes.
