RAMBAN, Dec 6: In a heart-wrenching incident a lady died after heart attack she suffered when the body of her son reached home here today at Ward number 7 area of Baghu Nallah in Batote.
According to sources, Jatinder Singh, 48, died in a Jammu Hospital in the wee hours on Wednesday due to some ailment.
A few hours after his body was brought home in Batote, his mother, Ranjit Kour, wife of Late S. Swarn Singh suffered massive heart attack.
She was rushed to Community Health Center Batote from where she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu but she died at the hospital gate.
Both bodies were cremated together today evening and the tragic incident has spread a pall of gloom across Batote town.
