Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues across J&K with resounding success

JAMMU, Dec 7: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), which commenced from 25th November, continued today with resounding success across Jammu and Kashmir, leaving an indeliable mark on the path of progress and development.
Under the Yatra, the Health Department in Srinagar district organized several camps in various Panchayats of the district in order showcasing their schemes and provide health related services to benefit the public particularly of rural areas. During the camps held at Fakir Gujri-A, Fakir Gujri-B, Khonmoh-A and Soiteng Panchayats, a large number of people visited the departmental stalls and were acquainted with the information about the benefits of health schemes offered by the Government. The beneficiaries were sensitized about the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) and free PVC Health/Golden card were distributed among them.
In Anantnag district, the Yatra witnessed more than 80,000 overwhelming participation and garnered widespread support from the local community. Several skill development initiatives were launched during the Yatra to equip local residents with the necessary skills for employment and schemes. Workshops on vocational training, digital literacy, and modern agricultural practices were conducted to empower individuals and enhance their employability. The Yatra played a pivotal role in identifying and addressing crucial infrastructure gaps. Financial assistance and access to various Government Schemes were provided for the development of economically poor people.
The VBSY continues in frontier Kupwara district with massive public participation. Today 22 Panchayats of Magam, Nutnoosa and Handwara blocks were covered under VBSY. With this, 217 Panchayats of the district have been covered till date under the campaign in which more than 70,000 people have participated. A mega event of VBSY was organized today at Boys Higher Secondary School Magam in Panchayat Halqa Magam B. BDO Magam administered the Viksit pledge to the officers, PRIs and Public, affirming their commitment to the nation’s holistic development.
In Kulgam district, the Yatra today reached 9 more Panchayats which are Wangund, Khudwani, Rehpora, Wanpora, Aamnoo, Chekpora, Laroo, Awgam and Shurat. On the occasion, the PRIs and field functionaries of stakeholder departments spread awareness about Government schemes besides Audio-Video sessions through IEC Vans mounted LEDs remained key attractions for the locals. Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls.
The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van of Viskit Bharat, visited six panchayats across three blocks of Samba district, today. The IEC Van covered the blocks of Patti, Gurha Slathia Lower of Vijaypur block, Panchayat Ratwana and Surara in Ghagwal block, and Panchayat Darui and Moutlian Kallan in Ramgarh block. The local communities enthusiastically welcomed the IEC Van, appreciating the efforts made by Viksit Bharat IEC Van to disseminate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to the masses.
District Doda is experiencing a significant wave of change ignited by the highly impactful Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra outreach campaign. At each panchayat, like Kulsari Panchayat in Bhaderwah block and Dhareja Panchayat, the Yatra’s arrival met with enthusiastic receptions. The gatherings actively engaged in pledge ceremonies, health checkups, and revel in cultural performances and sports activities. Displaying the Prime Minister’s messages on a sizable LED screen, the Yatra encapsulates the positive sentiments of beneficiaries of Government schemes, highlighting their substantial impact on the community.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in District Rajouri achieved a significant milestone as it entered the border block of Nowshera. The IEC Vans of the Yatra travelled through the picturesque locations of Rajal-A, H Thakra, Bajnowa, H Khanka, Nonial Lower, Nonial Upper, Dhanaka, Chowki, Handan, Kalsian, Bhawani-A, Bhawani-B, and Khamba. These vans, equipped with state-of-the-art audio-video facilities, served as mobile information hubs, engaging the local residents and providing them with valuable knowledge about Government schemes and programs.
In Kishtwar district, the Yatra reached ten far-off Panchayats including Kundal and Atholi Panchyats of Block Paddar, Chingam-A and Chatroo Upper Panchayats of block Inderwal besides Butna Churyana and Karool-A Panchayats of Block Drabshalla, today. People in huge numbers thronged the venues to listen to the message of the Prime Minister of India. The venues presented a festive look with colourful cultural events. The beneficiaries of different schemes including progressive farmers, entrepreneurs shared their success amid an impressive IEC campaign on centrally sponsored schemes.
The Yatra in Kathua district brought to the forefront numerous such narratives that showcase the positive impact of Government schemes on the lives of citizens across the country. Through initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana, the Government continues to work towards building a healthier and more prosperous India. Mohan Lal, a resident of Panchayat Badnota in Block Lohai Malhar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the benefits of the Golden Card under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). He shared his personal testimony under the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” segment during the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
On 12th day of the Yatra, a transformative initiative aimed at reaching the unreached and maximizing Government schemes’ impact, unfurled across 10 Panchayats in Udhampur district. Throughout the day, diverse activities were conducted in the Panchayats of Madha Upper-A, Kud-Lower, Rasli Thakarari, Pachound- 2, Malhar, Malhar Lower, Ghordi Khas East, Ghordi Khas West, Battal, and Mansar. The day’s activities included playing a recorded message from the PM, showcasing a film on VBSY, Meri Kahani Meri Zubani, as well as the distribution of calendars, brochures, booklets, T-shirts, caps, and badges.
The VBSY traversed a number of Panchayats in different blocks of Poonch district today, drawing huge participation of people. IEC Vans reached Panchayat Gohlad Reelan of Block Mendhar, Panchayat Chajjla of Block Mankote and Panchayat Hill Hundian of Block Surankote and sensitized the people, besides saturating the centrally sponsored schemes in every nook and corner. IEC Vans were accorded a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth and local residents on its arrival in eight Panchayats. Under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, officials engaged people with knowledge enriching audio-video material displayed on screen mounted on IEC Van.
In Ramban district, the Yatra today visited seven Panchayats of Ghari, Jhatgali-B, Rajgarh, Panchal-A, Allinbass-A, Allinbass-B and Hochak in block Rajgarh and Ukhral under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary to sensitize the people about the centrally sponsored schemes. Health Camps, Sankalp Pledge ceremonies, Sports Activities, awareness by concerned officials about their departmental schemes, Telecasting of Prime Minister’s message, screening of movies on schemes and cultural events were held at all venues during the programme. Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also expressed their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative.
On the 12th day of the flagship outreach campaign, the VBSY reached six Panchayats of in Reasi district, fostering community engagement and awareness. The campaign unfolded in the panchayats of Dadura, Sira Kotla, Chassana A, Chassana B, Hunder, and Harotkote, where a series of activities were organized throughout the day. The program garnered enthusiastic participation from stakeholders, reflecting the community’s keen interest in the development initiatives. Government officers and officials played a crucial role in informing the public about various Government schemes aimed at improving livelihoods.
In Ganderbal district, the Yatra today started in 6 Panchayats of block Wakura, including Wakura-A, Wakura-B, Waskoora-A, Waskoora-B, Batwina-A and Batwina-B. The IEC Vans navigated through these Panchayats equipped with audio-visual facilities engaged residents, and disseminated knowledge on Government initiatives. In these Panchayats, beneficiaries shared success stories through “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” spotlighting the advantages of PMAY Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Schemes, Ujjwala Scheme, etc.
The spirit of development echoed through the picturesque district of Pulwama as VBSY unfolded with unparalleled enthusiasm witnessing participation of numerous residents across 10 panchayats, covering 128 Panchayats till date. The program witnessed a remarkable convergence of people, united in their commitment to progress. Beneficiaries spoke passionately about the life-altering benefits they have availed under various Government schemes, narrating their transformative journeys in the heartwarming initiative, ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’.
The Yatra was today conducted in Maldair, Narwani, T Wangam, Heff, Dachoo and Sugan Panchayats of the Shopian district. The initiative garnered an overwhelming response from residents, signifying a major stride towards uplifting and empowering local communities. More than 1.30 lac people in 72 Panchayat Halqas of the district Shopian have attended the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra till date. IEC Van is playing an important role in creating awareness of various centrally sponsored schemes and other welfare schemes meant for the general public.
Continuing information dissemination and awareness campaign regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, the IEC Van today continued campaigning in different panchayats of the Bandipora district including, Brar, Garoora, Bonakoot, Gundjahangeer, Gundboon beside  Panchayats of Odina. On the occasion, locals enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign. Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, J&K Bank, etc, held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail the welfare schemes initiated by the Government.
