JAMMU, Dec 7: Akhnoor Police today intercepted one motorcycle bearing Registration No. JK11G-7043 on which rider along with two pillion riders was coming from Akhnoor towards Sohal.
When they saw Naka party, they immediately diverted the direction of M/cycle and accelerated their M/Cycle , tried to escape but Police Party apprehended them on spot.
Accused were identified as Vishal Gangyal S/o Rajiv Gangyal R/o Makdi Nowshera, Rajouri, Jugal Kishore S/o Vipan Kumar R/o Lam Ladoke Nowshera and Gulshan Kumar S/o Tara Chand R/o Matoo, tehsil Khour district Jammu.
On their suspicious activities their personal search was conducted. During search 250 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from Vishal Gangyal, 100 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from Jugal Kishore and 50 grams heroine like substance was recovered from Gulshan Kumar .
In this regard, a case FIR No. 330/2023 U/S 8/21/22/29/60 NDPS Act was registered at Akhnoor polce station and accused were arrested. Further investigation of the case is going on. Arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma.
