Slathia lays foundation stone of CFC

SAMBA, Jan 24: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today laid foundation stone of Community Facility Centre (CFC) at village Kairanwali which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs.18 lakh and the amount will be released out of Constituency Development Fund.
While addressing a large gathering, Slathia said that the Omar led Coalition Government was committed to provide all basic amenities to remote and far-off pockets like road connectivity, power and water supply, medicare, education, etc. Slathia said that State and Centre Governments have launched number of development programmes and schemes to uplift the status of the people particularly living in rural and far flung areas.
He gave a detailed account of the development projects and welfare schemes launched by the Omar led Government in every nook and corner of the state, adding that no such development and progress took place during the past regime.
Slathia said that peace and tranquillity are pre-requisite for further development and socio-economic transformation and nobody will be allowed to derail the peace initiate taken by the present Government.
