Backward Classes discuss demands

JAMMU, Jan 24: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its Executive meet while discussing the prevailing situation in the State alleged that Backward classes are being deprived of their Constitutional rights particularly since 1992 after the Apex Court judgement on Mandal report.
In the meeting, speakers criticized those who oppose caste based reservation and termed them as the Government created agencies as the Government is already working for Upper castes and have cornered 82% which never matures and untimately goes in favour of OM reservation for this and is still trying its level best to maintain the Chaturverma System in the State by shunning the sense of country’s constitution.
The speakers appealed all the State OBCs to remain ready in the fourth coming Parliamentary/Assembly elections to uproot the rulers who deprive the poor people from their due constitutional rights. State OBCs were further asked to make the best use of their valuable votes in the form of referendum for gaining a significant in the society.
Those present were Shail Farooq, A A Najar, Abdul Kadir, Darshan Kumar, H M Sandokh Chand, H M Swarn Singh, Bodh Raj Dogra, Thoru Ram Chingotra and others.
