Former Mayor starts 2nd phase of campaign from Commerce College

JAMMU, Dec 8: Former Mayor Rajinder Sharma today started the second phase of anti-corruption campaign Imandar Jammu Shandar Jammu from Commerce College.
On this occasion all the students of BBA course took an oath for making Jammu region corruption free and to do what all shall be needed for achieving this target.
A documentary showcasing Sheetal Devi-a Para-shooter from a remote village of Kishtwar and Michael Phles was also shown to motivate the students to remain determined towards goals.
Certificates were also downloaded by the students from the website of ‘Imandar Jammu Shandar Jammu’.
The students assured that they will motivate at least six persons starting from their families for corruption free Jammu.
Sharma asked the people of Jammu to download these certificates from the website of ‘Imandar Jammu Shandar Jammu’ and display the same in their homes for motivating others.
“The students are future of the country and to get benefits of the system they should make efforts for making the system of administration transparent and accountable,” the former Mayor said.
Sharma also administered an oath to the students and staffers of the College for fighting against political corruption, avoiding caste favours in electing public representative and choosing an educated persons as their representative who should also have thorough knowledge of working of the Government and administration.
The former Mayor gave the mantra of “Kaam Karo Budhi Se, Jeewan Jio Shudhi Se” (work as per wisdom and live a pure and pious life).
He said that Sheetal Devi became number one para-shooter by hard work and absence of arms failed to hinder his success.
“Similarly Michael Phles worked extraordinarily hard and won 8 Gold medals with his arm broken,” he maintained.
Sharma motivated the students saying that if they are determined no power in this world may stop them.
Principal of the College, Surinder Kumar and Anwar Chowdhary, HoD BBA Department also motivated the students.
