JAMMU, Dec 9: A free medical camp was organized today by NHPC, Sawalkote Hydroelectric Project (HE) under CSR activity at Block Gandhri, District Ramban.
A team of doctors and paramedical staff was deputed for the camp on the instructions of DC Ramban.
The camp was inaugurated by D. Boral, General Manager, Sawalkote HE Project in the presence of Dr. Kamal Zadoo, CMO, Ramban and other senior officials, local dignitaries and villagers.
Doctors from NHPC comprising Dr. R.S Rathi, CMO; Dr. Karam Vir Hans, DCMO and medical team from Govt. Medical Division, Batote including Dr. O.P Singh, BMO (Incharge); Dr. Deepika, Medical Officer; Dr. Kuljesh, Medical Officer and Dr. Nimrit Pal Singh, Dr. Asif from District Hospital Ramban and other para medical staff of NHPC and Govt. Medical Division, Batote examined more than 210 local male and female residents in the Camp.
While focusing on seasonal diseases, the doctors and their team examined blood pressure, pulse, random glucose etc and provided necessary health consultations, medicines, masks etc free of cost.
