TNWS to raise issues of colony before CS

JAMMU, Dec 10: In a meeting here today Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) passed a resolution to raise their demand and issues before J&K Chief Secretary.
TNWS members while speaking in the meeting stated that they face power supply related problems.
They said that the HVDS system in Trikuta Nagar is in shambles due to non-maintenance of HT/LT infrastructure in HVDS system by IRCON.
“HT cables are sparking at many poles and there is no routine maintenance carried out so for except restoration of breakdowns. The system has become redundant and prone to breakdown and fatal accidents,” they maintained adding: “The inspection agency must visit and revisit the inspection reports issued by them.”
The speakers also said that meagre staff has been provided by the Government and that too without safety tools or working tools.
Up-gradation of Urban Health Centre in Trikuta Nagar with provision of physician, ECG, X-ray and Lab facilities with technicians along with facility of 24 by 7 anti-rabies vaccinations was also demanded as the population of street dogs has increased in Trikuta Nagar colony.
TNWS members also said that Trikuta Nagar colony is without a playground and they have met with VC JDA many times in this regard but nothing fruitful resulted.
Rajinder Parshad Kakkar, president TNWS chaired the meeting while Varinder Kumar Suri, Ashok Kumar Arora, Som Nath Kaul, Opender Zadoo, Anil Sharma, Vijay Gupta, Dr. Arun Gandotra, Dr. T.R Gupta and Krishan Lal Gupta were also present.
