Six injured in separate road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 10: At least 6 persons were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu District today.
A police spokesperson said that three people were injured in the collision of a scooty and a motorcycle at Santra Morh area falling under the jurisdiction of the Pouni Chak Police Post.
They were identified as Amit Kumar (18) son of Rampal of Sari, Pouni Chak, Ansh (18), and Ajay Kumar, sons of Raj Kumar of Ranjeetpur Gole Gujral, Jammu.
At Gummat Chowk area of the District, another scooty hit a motorcycle, resulting in injuries to one Nitish Sharma son of late Harvinder Sharma of Santra Morh, Pouni Chak, Jammu.
One Sunny Kumar (30) son of Romesh Kumar of Gharota suffered injuries after he was hit by an Innova car at Doomi area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachak.
At Mandir-Masjid point area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad, one Jamila Begum (35) wife of Noor Alam of Nagrota, Jammu, suffered injuries after the scooty she was riding on collided with another scooty.
While police have registered cases under the relevant sections of the law at concerned police stations injured have been hospitalised separately.
