10 black bucks arrive at Jambu Zoo

JAMMU, Dec 11: Ten black bucks from National Zoological Park of New Delhi arrived at Jambu Zoo, here today.
The black bucks have been acquired from National Zoological Park in exchange with the female leopard that was given in 2018.
There are 6 female bucks and 1 adult male buck with 3 sub adult male bucks. The black bucks have been kept in the enclosure and are open to public display from Wednesday.
Prior to this, lion and tigers were acquired which are already in public display. From Wednesday, 3 Marsh crocodiles acquired from Rohtak Zoo and 4 Gharial from Lucknow Zoo will also be open for public display.
As of now Jambu Zoohas lion, tiger, leopard, black bears, leopard cat, emu, porcupine, sambar, spotted deer, neelgai, barking deer, hog deer, goral, black bucks, snakes (cobra, python, Royal snake, rat snake, Russell’s viper, Russell’s boa), ducks, Marsh crocodile and Gharial.
