RAMBAN, Dec 11: Frequent shooting stones and land-slides disrupted movement of traffic on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Mehar and Cafeteria Morh area near Ramban today.
Official sources said that at around 7.30 am sudden landslides blocked the Jammu- Srinagar National Highway at Mehar near Ramban, thus disrupting movement of traffic on busy highway. The movement of light motor vehicles was diverted to old road via Maitra by the Traffic Police authorities.

The National Highway authorities cleared the road at around 10 am and restored traffic but it was again disrupted frequently due to shooting stones posing threat to the lives of road users. At 4 pm again the traffic was suspended for half an hour due to landslides. No damage to any vehicle and injury to any one was reported.
