JAMMU, Dec 11: In a minor reshuffle, Government today ordered transfer and posting of seven Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) officers.
As per an order issued in this context, Abdul Rashid War, Labour Commissioner, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, vice Reyaz Ahmed Sofi, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
Further, it has been ordered that Rehana Batul, Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, holding additional charge of Secretary to the Government, Public Grievances, shall also hold the charge of the post of Labour Commissioner, J&K, in addition to her own duties, till further orders.
Another orders said that Mohammad Ashraf, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar; Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore; Noor-ud-Din Bhat, Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.
The order further said that Shakeel Hussain, Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir; Om Parkash, District Panchayat Officer, Reasi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Doda; and Harvinder Singh, Private Secretary with Chairman, Advisory Board under J&K Public Safety Act , has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Samba, against an available vacancy.
