Rich tribute paid to Gen Zorawar Singh on death anniversary

JAMMU, Dec 12: Maharaja Gulab Singh Brigade (MGSB), a distinguished organization committed to preserving and honoring the rich history of J&K, and Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit today paid homage to General Zorawar Singh, a fearless warrior of Dogra Military, on his death anniversary.
MGSB solemnly observed the death anniversary of the legendary General Zorawar Singh, in a programme held at the office of the Brigade. The event witnessed a poignant tribute as members of the brigade gathered to pay homage to the fearless warrior. Amidst the solemn atmosphere, floral tribute were offered by the members of the Maharaja Gulab Singh Brigade, symbolizing their deep respect for General Zorawar Singh’s contributions to the defense and expansion of the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajay Jamwal, president of Maharaja Gulab Singh Brigade, reflected on the unparalleled valor of General Zorawar Singh. Also present on the occasion were Anil Singh Rakwal (working president), Tarsem Singh, Atul Sharma, Diwakar Singh (vice president), Gaurav Chadha (secretary) and Ranjeet Singh (secretary) were also present on the occasion.
Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit paid tribute to Dogra Military Commander Gen Zorawar Singh at a function organized in General Zorawar Singh Auditorium in the premises of University of Jammu. Led by their president Manish Sahni, the Party leaders offered floral tribute on the statue of legendary Military Commander inaugurated today by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who was chief guest on the occasion.
While paying his heartfelt tribute to the remarkable military leader, Sahni said that General Zorawar Singh made the country and the Dogras proud with his unmatched bravery and military strategy. Dignitaries of Jammu including the sixth generation of General Zorawar Singh and Trustees Riya and Diksha Kularia, Trust chairman Davindra Singh were also present at the event.
