RAJOURI, Dec 12: The Police nabbed an absconder who was wanted in motor-vehicle accident case but was evading his arrest in Nowshera area of Rajouri district today.
The police identified the accused as Shah Nawaz, son of Jamat Ali Shah, a resident of Samote in Kotranka tehsil of district Rajouri.
A team of police led by SHO Nowshera, Inspector Sumit Magotra arrested the accused absconder at Nowshera on the basis of a human intelligence.
The accused was evading his arrest since long in case FIR No.112/2019 U/S 279,338 IPC of Police Station Nowshera and a general warrant U/S 299 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of Sub-Judge Nowshera. The apprehended accused was produced before the court.
