JAMMU, Dec 12: Government today announced a 4 percent hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for the Government employees working in regular pay levels under 7th Pay Commission recommendations.
Currently, the Government employees are paid a DA at the rate of 42% of their basic pay. They will now be paid a DA at the rate of 46% of their basic pay with effect from July 1, 2023.
