JAMMU, Dec 13: A Special Security Force (SSF) personnel died in a road accident outside Raj Bhawan here today.
Selection Grade Constable Ravi Kumar suffered head injuries after the bike he was riding on hit a road barrier outside the Raj Bhawan Jammu.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination while as a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
In a statement, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has condoled the passing away of Special Security Force (SSF) personnel, in the unfortunate road accident.
He has expressed his deepest sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
