RAMBAN, Dec 13: Police here today arrested two men for allegedly killing a lady in land dispute.
Sources informed that Saleema Begum, 56, wife of Abdul Majeed, resident of Seripura, Gool was killed in clash between two groups over land issue.
Accused Mohd Farooq and Masrat Ahmed, both sons of Mohd Ibrahim, resident of Famrote, Seripura were arrested and a case in FIR number 129/2023 U/S 304/447/34 of IPC was registered in this regard at Police Station Gool.
Body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs after post-mortem and other legal formalities at District Hospital, Ramban.
SHO Gool, Firdous Ahmed informed that investigation in the case has been started.
