JAMMU, Dec 13: Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Professor and Head of Community Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, attended a National Summit in Himachal Pradesh (HP).
The one-day National Summit on Neglected Tropical diseases was held at RP GMC Tanda (Himachal Pradesh). The Summit was organized by ECHO India and PG Department of Community Medicine, RP GMC Tanda.
A galaxy of stalwarts across the nation was invited to attend this summit. Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta (Prof and HoD, Community Medicine) and Dr Anuj Kapoor (Lecturer, Community Medicine) were invited from GMC Jammu.
During the Summit, Dr Gupta along with other panelist including Dr Omesh Bharti chaired a session on Rabies-which is one of the neglected tropical diseases. The deliberations of the Summit would be submitted to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
