Former Mayor to start political reorientation aimed at corruption free system

JAMMU, Dec 16: Efforts are on to ensure that political reorientation aimed at corruption free system in the country may start from Jammu region.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Mayor of Jammu city, Rajinder Sharma during a function held here today.
Continuing his campaign on anti-corruption at Ward no.-4, the former Mayor stressed on following three cardinal principles in letter and spirit to end political corruption in the country which is the root cause of most of the wrong doings.
He said that to eradicate corruption from every nook and corner of Jammu Ward level committees are being constituted which will take the anti-corruption campaign to every corner of Jammu.
“Everyone of us should honestly stop supporting a candidate to be elected as public representative only because of his or her caste but make considerations for voting to an educated candidate who may have sound knowledge of administrative working and functioning,” the former Mayor said adding: “We should also not fall prey to monetary temptations to vote a person while electing a public representative.”
The senior BJP leader also said that the way CMs for the three States were nominated shocked the countrymen on unimaginable honesty and transparency shown by PM Modi.
The function was organised by Mohit Sharma, a prominent Social Activist of Jammu East Constituency.
