JAMMU, Dec 19: The Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered an inquiry against Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle Rajouri in connection with some allegation regarding the then construction of road from Plangarh Badhanoo to Lah in Rajouri district.
Principal Secretary to Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, Shailendra Kumar appointed Incharge Chief Engineer, Pir Panjal, Anil Kumar Pandohi as inquiry officer to enquire into the allegations leveled against the then SE R&B Circle Rajouri and the circumstances under which the work regarding `construction of road from Plangarh Badhanoo to Lah village via Alidhara’ (Now under R&B Div Thannamandi), allotted to the contractor, vide Executive Engineer, R&B Division Rajouri’s letter No. EER/R&B/6/2017-18/12400-124 dated 06-02-2018, has been executed on extension basis in violation of codal formalities during 2018-2022.
It was further directed that the Inquiry officer shall submit a detailed report along with the names of concerned officers/ officials and their role in the instant case within a period of one month to the Administrative Department.
