JD-S holds meet

JAMMU, June 24: A meeting of Janata Dal Secular executive body was held at its party headquarters under the presidentship of Dhanraj Bargotra, State party president, today.
While addressing the meeting, Bargotra criticized the Government for electricity cuts in the city and shortage of water in this hot season when the rush of pilgrimage in the city of temples is at its height. He said that Government should take notice of this problem, which the people are facing. He warned the Government against discrimination with Jammu at all fronts. Price rise should be controlled and overloading in matadors should be stopped in the city and adjourning rural areas, he demanded.
Other present in the meeting were Ram Rattan Sharma , Bhagwati Sharan Sharma, R R Sharma, Govind Ram, Mani Ram, Om Parkash and Sain Dass.
