JAMMU, Dec 19: Lieutenant General Naveen Sachdev will replace Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain as new General-Officer-Commanding (GOC) of Nagrota based in Jammu’s strategic White Knight Corps commonly known as 16 Corps.
Official sources said that Lieutenant General Naveen Sachdev will soon take over the command of 16 Corps responsible for the security along the Line of Control in the Jammu division.
Sources said that Lieutenant General Sachdev, currently posted at the Army Headquarters is expected to take over as Corps Commander on January 1, 2024.
Lieutenant General Sachdev has served in many important positions and has been honored with many medals.
Sitting Corps Commander Lt Gen Sandeep Jain as per sources is leaving for Dehradun on an important assignment. He took over the command from Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh last year.
