JAMMU, Dec 20: A delegation of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) called on Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo and submitted a charter of demands here today.
Led by senior Trade Union leader and EJAC president, Wajahat Hussain Durrani submitted a memorandum and discussed in detail the issues of the employees.
While talking to media persons later, Wajahat said during meeting they demanded enactment of comprehensive regularization policy for all categories of daily wagers and implementation of Minimum Wages Act in JKUT; urgent release of GP Fund withdrawals/advances and streamlining of the existing system.
He disclosed that delegation further demanded swift implementation of 7th Pay Commission in left over Corporations, confirmation of all the incharge officials in the Education Department including promotions, timely release of pending DA / arrears of PSU and other employees, formulation of a comprehensive transfer policy for employees, regularization of ReK/ ReJ employees, Anganwadi workers; allocation of budgetary provision for J&K PDD employees, restoration of Old pension Scheme, release of pending DA installments, timely conduct of DPC of UEED employees, clear all the pending SRO-43/120 cases pending with General Administration Department, implementation of 7th CPC and release of DA in favour of left over Corporations including JKTRC.
Durrani said the Chief Secretary listened all the issues attentively and assured swift and decisive action in this regard.
