RAMBAN, Dec 20: A worker of the construction company Ceigall engaged by NHAI here today died after a fall from the pillar of under-construction Ramsu-Nachlana flyover.
Police sources said that the worker fell from an 80-meter tall under-construction pillar of Ramsu-Nachlana flyover and died.
Body of the deceased worker was shifted to Sub District Hospital Banihal for conducting post-mortem.
Police identified the deceased as Mohd Islam, 26, son of Ismail Mau, resident of Begusarai, Bihar.
SDPO Banihal, Ajay Jamwal said a case Under Section 304-A was registered against the officials of the Company responsible for the safety measures of workers.
