JAMMU, Dec 21: On the eve of Dogri Manta Diwas, Watch O Suno Dogri announced the winners of the 20-day long online fun-quiz, organised to mark the completion of 20 years of Dogri language getting constitutional recognition.
A total of 732 people not only from Jammu or J&K but also from Abu-dhabi, California, Sydney, Delhi, Dharamshala, Banglore, Jodhpur, etc attempted the quiz and 84 of them got hundred percent marks.
Through a draw of lot, 20 Super winners and 20 Special winners were announced to whom the prizes shall be sent by post, said Jagmohan Sharma, the founder of Watch O Suno Dogri.
He said that this ‘Fun Quiz’ was organized to create awareness among the people, especially youth and children, about Dogri, develop a feel of love respect and belongingness towards Dogri so that they feel proud in speaking, writing, reading and listening to their mother tongue.
Super winners of the quiz included: Harmeet Kour (Abu Dhabi), Anju Rani (Sangroor), Shambhu Ram (Bishnah), Ajay & Bhawna (Ahio- USA), Divyanshu Paul (Sarwal), Deepshikha Sangra (Banglore), Raj Kumar Behrupia (Purani Mandi Jammu), Dr Sheetal Dogra ( TalabTillo Bohri), Ajay Nischal (Dharamshala HP), Dr Padamdev Singh, Promila Manhas (Trikuta Nagar), Roshiba Sharma( Jullaka Mohalla), Nitish & Ankit (Gandhi Nagar), Rachna Goswami (Dream City), Pranav Sharma (Raj Pura), Dr Geetika (Gandhi Nagar), Sukhvinder Singh (Barnai), Sushil Minai (Channi), Bhadkar Sharma (Paloura) and Sushma (Bishnah).
