JAMMU, Dec 22: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today rescinded ab-initio the attachment order of Dr Khalid Abbas (Medical Officer) and consequently, posted him as BMO Batote with immediate effect.
“Dr Khalid Abbas, the then I/c Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Shopian, was attached with the office of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer Shopian on orders of District Magistrate Shopian on 06-03-2023,” mentioned an order issued today by the Government.
The order stated that on the recommendations of an enquiry committee constituted vide Government Order number 781-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 21-09-2023, the attachment order of Dr Abbas is rescinded ab-initio.
Consequently, Dr Khalid Abbas has been posted as BMO Batote with immediate effect and meanwhile, Dr Gurmeet Kour (BMO Batote) has been asked to report in the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu for further duties.
