Jugal inaugurates road, bridge on Ghambhir Nallah under PMGSY

JAMMU, Dec 24: Continuing the developmental works under PMGSY, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament Lok Sabha from Jammu-Poonch inaugurated a road from Kathar to Ponthal and Bridge on Ghambhir Nallah in Block Dansal here today.
Earlier, Jugal also attended Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Panchayat Ponthal in Block Dansal in which BDO Joni Kumar, Sarpanch Anil Barsala along with other Sarpanches Panches and the officials of various departments were present.
Addressing the gathering Jugal said that this road and bridge was long pending demand of the inhabitants of Panchayat Ponthal and adjoining areas of Block Dansal.
He said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi every rural sector is getting share of development and Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana is playing major role to develop the rural corners.
“The Kathar to Ponthal road is stretched over the length of 8 kms including a motorable bridge is constructed with the cost of 9 crores approximately under Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana will serve as a major source of development of Panchayat Pounthal and adjoining areas of block Dansal,” he said.
The students of Govt Middle School Ponthal added a cultural flair to the proceedings, presenting debate activities and skits centred around the theme of National Integration.
Among others who were present on the occasion included SE PMGSY Ajay Kapahi, Xen PMGSY NU Khan with team, Senior BJP leaders Ajeet Kumar, Vikas Gupta, Pankaj Sharma, Ex Sarpanch Parkash Singh, Chuni Singh, Vijay Kumar, Sagar Singh and Charanjeet Singh.
