R.S PURA, Dec 24: Convenor of BJP Panchayati Raj Cell J&K, Surjit Chaudhary along with Sarpanch of Flora Panchayat here today started the construction work of a road in village Flora.
Speaking on the occasion Surjit Chaudhary said that construction of proper roads in the village and the laying of tar was a long pending demand from Panchayat representatives and locals of the area.
“Responding to these demands, the work has now been started today which will not only benefit the residents of the village but also other passersby,” he maintained adding that PM Modi led Government at the Centre has been consistently providing funds for the development of Panchayats.
The BJP leader also said that development work in the Panchayat would continue in the coming days to provide better basic facilities to the locals.
Naib Sarpanch, Ashok Kumar and Panch, Chaudhary Sohan Lal along with other representatives of the Panchayat and prominent people of the area were also present on this occasion.
