Kashmiri held for trying to breach INA security

KANNUR, Dec 25: A 21-year-old youth hailing from Kashmir was arrested by Payyannur police, on the charges of attempt to breach the security of Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, today.
According to police, they detained Muhammed Murtaz of Baramulla in Kashmir and produced before the Payyanur JFCM and the court sent him to 14 days judicial custody.
The incident happened in the morning, INA security officials nabbed him while he was trying to breach into the highly security facility of INA and later handed over to Payyanur police.
Police said, during the interrogation, it was revealed that Muhammed Murtaz , who was working in Mumbai, had reached Kannur after they came to know about the vacancy of supporting staff in the INA.
Police asked, why are you not trying to enroll from Mumbai, he replied that in Mumbai there are more security systems than the INA, here.
However, police have not revealed any more details about Muhammed Murtaz and the Central Intelligence Agency officials were also interrogated him. (UNI)
