JAMMU, Dec 28: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan today lauded the efforts of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for launching several women-centric schemes and giving women priority in several other schemes.
She was addressing a Mahila Morcha BJP district Jammu South meeting here, today during which a large number of women folk joined the party in the presence of Seh Prabhari Jammu North, Vinay Gupta, district vice president, Narinder Koki, Gandhi Nagar, Mandal president, Bharat Bhushan, district Mahila Morcha president, Divya Jain, Morcha Mandal president, Ritika Dhiman, Meetu Sharma, Bharati and others were present on the occasion.
While addressing the BJP Mahila Morcha Rekha Mahajan stated, that women are the charioteers in the journey of Golden India. Modi-led Government does everything whether it is Article 370, Triple Talaq, or now the Women’s Reservation Bill which will work to change the destiny of women of the country. When a woman takes up any responsibility, she tries with all her might to take the resolution to completion.
The biggest benefit of this law will be that it will create great confidence in the women’s power of the country. The passion to work for the country and the power to take India forward will increase manifold.
Making women millionaires is Prime Minister, Modi’s dream and we have to accelerate the party activities at the grassroots level. Amid the general public Rekha Mahajan highlighted that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was launched by the Prime Minister on November 15. Nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about major schemes of the Central Government.
Rekha Mahajan noted that since taking office in 2014, PM Modi has consistently emphasized the importance of gender equality and the need to empower women in all spheres of life. Making the lives of women easier, providing new employment-self-employment opportunities to women, and women empowerment have been at the center of all the welfare schemes launched by the Central Government. This is such a transformative change of approach and mindset that PM Modi’s vision has now been echoed in the G20 Summit declaration as well.
