Trust deficit in public life causing unrest: Ex-MLA

JAMMU, Dec 29: Former MLA and chairman Jammu Province Bachao Manch Ashok Sharma today said that only good governance can remove trust deficit in public life.
While expressing serious concern over unchecked exploitation of natural resources, corruption and drug abuse and lack of public utility services in Jammu province at Bahu Fort, Jammu during “ Ekta Abhiyan” here today, Sharma said installation of Smart Meter, Toll Plaza and imposition of property tax is playing havoc on Jammuties. Non-availability of teachers in schools and colleges and non-availability of doctors and medicines in Government health centres more particularly in rural and hilly belt of the province must be viewed seriously by the local and Central Governments and corrective measures should be taken. Regularisation of daily wagers viz-a-viz release of their pending wages as well as release of widow, handicapped and old age pension need priority said Dr. Kuldip Sharma the Chief Advisor and spoke person of the Manch while addressing the meeting during Ekta Abhiyan.
The meeting was organised by Karam Chand, Joint Secretary, JPBM and his team, whereas it was moderated by Ashwani Sharma, Secretary JBM.
