JAMMU, Dec 29: Intensifying public service campaign, former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria organised Janata Darbar at Ward 43 Nanak Nagar, where he listened the various demands and problems of the people.
During this darbar a large number of people of area participated in which many of their problems were solved. Some issues were resolved on the spot, while others were reported to the concerned officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria highlighted the major development works done by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) in the last five years in Ward 43 Nanak Nagar.
Billawaria said that people put forward many problems before him, most of which were related to water logging and the sanitation system. He said that along with solving the minor problems of the common people at the initial level for other problems also accountability of the concerned officers is being fixed and necessary guidelines are being given for their redressal.
Billawaria solved most of the problems on the spot, while setting a time limit for others. Instructions were given to the concerned officials to solve them. He said that basic problems like water, electricity, good roads and cleanliness will be solved in the Ward. He assured the people that many other projects in the area would be started soon.
Billawaria said that all Government schemes will reach every person and he is working on this. He informed people about the recently launched PM Vishwakarma Yojana. “This Yojana’ aims to revive the rich heritage of traditional crafts of India by empowering artisans across the country”, he added.
He said the Modi Government has initiated policies and schemes to uplift the socio-economic status of those communities and classes which were continuously neglected by the previous governments.
Billawaria said that the BJP Government at the Center, under the leadership of PM Modi is making tireless efforts for the development of the country. He said that BJP follows the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas and is committed to solving the problems of the people at all levels.
