Vishwakarma Yojna to uplift underprivileged classes: Sat

JAMMU, Dec 31: Prime Minister, Vishwakarma Yojna will definitely uplift under privileged classes of Jammu Kashmir, stated Sat Sharma and added that the people across Jammu Kashmir are feeling enthusiastic and happy with PM Vishwakarma Yojna and registering themselves in large numbers.
Sat Sharma former Minister said this while addressing a large gathering of people belonging to the OBC community during ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojna Awareness and Registration Camp, organized in Ward 29, at Vishwakarma Sabha Shakti Nagar Jammu along with Sunil Prajapati, president, BJP OBC Morcha.
Sat Sharma said that during the last ten years, the BJP Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has launched dozens of welfare schemes for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and weaker sections and people from different categories have availed the benefits of the same.
Sat Sharma said that continuing with the commitment to take care of every class in the society, this Government has now launched ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojna, which is a mega scheme meant to promote livelihood opportunities for the people of Other Backward Classes (OBC) and other sections engaged in traditional skills.
He further said that the scheme aims to strengthen and nurture the Guru Shishya Parampara or family-based practice of traditional skills by artisans and crafts people working with their hands and traditional tools.
Sunil Prajapati, in his address said that the artisans and crafts people will be provided Recognition Certificate and ID card. They will also get credit support up to Rs one lakh (First Tranche) and Rs. two lakh (Second Tranche) with a concession in interest rate of 5%. The Scheme will further provide skill upgradation, Toolkit Incentive, Incentive for Digital Transactions and marketing support.
Suresh Salgotra, vice president BJP OBC, Morcha, Raman Chalotra (State secretary Morcha), Kushant Daffara (Mandal general secretary, Rehari Bakshi Nagar), Ashok Salgotra, district president, Jammu OBC Morcha, Madan Verma, district secretary, OBC Morcha Jammu, Onkar Verma, Mandal president, OBC Morcha Talab Tillo, Sanjay Verma , Mandal president, Rehar Bakshi Nagar, Mandal OBC Morcha , Ashok Verma, office secretary, Vishwakarma Sabha and other BJP workers were present on the occasion.
