JAMMU, Jan 1: The eight day long education camp underway at Disha Chatrawas Katra from December 27 will culminate at January 3. This is by annual camp where both girls and boys take part.
Students from Jammu, Rajouri, Katra and Chandigarh are taking part in this camp. The camp is running under the guidance of Dada Ji senior and veteran social activist. One hundred students both girls and boys from all Chatrawas are taking part in this camp, which is managed and coordinated by Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Yashaswani Goel and Shivani from Jalana Maharastra.
Arun Ambardar, Ajay Takoo, Dr. Anil Manhas president of Sewa Bharti also gave valuable inputs and suggestions for running this camp in more efficient way. The major focus in the camp was on education, cultural programmes, other activities, sports, games, music and dance.
Activities started at 5.45 a m daily followed by morning prayer, motivation speech, exercise, morning walk, breakfast, three hours education class with specialist in the field. This was followed by lunch and two hours tuition classes.
During the camp track and field activities, cultural activities, prayer and day review etc are held.
