KATRA, Jan 4: Leading businessmen of Katra today announced the formation of a new society, namely Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry, Katra.
This was informed by Raj Kumar Padha, president of the newly established body, while addressing a press conference along with others, here today.
He announced the nomination of Rajneesh Purohit as General Secretary, Babu Ram Sharma as Senior Vice-President, Dharun Sharma and Raman Goswami as vice-Presidents, Ramneek Sharma as Treasurer, Karan and Atul Sharma as Secretaries and Manav Sanmotra as Legal Advisor.
Vishal Kapoor, Jagdev Singh, Arun Sharma and Vivek Gupta were nominated as the Executive Members of the newly formed body.
“The newly formed Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry aims to watch and to safeguard the interests of the members of the society, to advise the Government department and the business community regarding all matters affecting their mutual interests so as to benefit the society as large,” said Padha.
Shiv Kumar Sharma, former President of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Katra, who was also present ion the press conference, informed that the formation of the chamber came in response to the growing need for a dedicated forum where business and industry owners and professionals could address challenges, share best practices and collaborate on projects that would shape the future of Katra business community.
Membership of Tourism Trade and Industry Katra is open to business owners who are having units in tourism sector, any trading activity, any industry and professionals. “We are welcome individuals who are passionate about business to join us in this exciting journey,” he added.
