DODA, Jan 5: The people living along Chulli Nallah-Kandlu are suffering due to dilapidated condition of the road from Chulli Nallah to Kandlu here.
Locals of the area informed that 3 km road from Chulli Nallah to Kandlu in Sub District Gandoh Bhallessa is in very bad condition since long and no one from the administration or the concerned authority has ever bothered to take any step to reconstruct or repair this vital road.
People living in village and adjoining areas are suffering a lot and have repeatedly appealed to the administration besides visiting the offices of the concerned authorities many times to get the problem resolved but nothing fruitful resulted.
They said that the road is in worst condition since long and is full of muddy patches and potholes which put the life of those using this road to risk.
“During rainfall, the users of this road have to suffer a lot as sometimes their vehicles get stuck in this muddy road,” locals claimed adding that pedestrians get mud splashed over their clothes many times while moving on the road.
Those who expressed concern over the bad condition of the road included NC leader Kewel Singh Manhas, Ch Lal Hussain and Ch Mohd Israil.
They appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to direct the concerned department to construct this road at the earliest so that the people living there may heave a sigh of relief.
