AIMCCC for restoration of encroached land of KPs

JAMMU, Jan 5: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) was held at Jagti township under the chairmanship of B K Raina.
Chairman of the Committee, B K Raina while addressing said that Kashmiri Pandits have lost everything i.e. culture, agriculture land, orchards, homes, business, temples and overall peace of mind during last 34 years of exile and their fate is still hanging in balance.
President of the Committee, Desh Rattan Pandita in his address expressed anguish over Government’s failure in restoring the encroached land of KPs in Valley and their temples/shrines. He stressed upon administration to take immediate steps for it’s restoration.
He further said that Kashmir is incomplete without KPs, as the Valley is known as “Kashyap Bhoomi” and KPs are basic stake holders of this land which has been nurtured by them for last thousands of years.
The meeting revamped the organisation and appointed J L Raina as general secretary, Daljit Singh as advisor, Ashok Raina as secretary, C .L. Koul as joint secretary, O. N. Koul organising secretary, Shubhan Lal Bhat, district president of Shopian, S K Bhat district president, Kulgam, Sunil Kachroo, district president, Kupwara, Kulwant Singh district president, Srinagar, Sagar Koul, organiser, Anil Kumar Mehta secretary Youth Wing, Binoo Singh has been nominated as organising secretary for Youth Wing, Yogesh Chib organiser Youth Wing, Kuldeep Bhat coordinator Youth Wing, Vinoo Misri as joint secretary youths, Ramesh Tikoo as area coordinator of Jammu district.
