RAJOURI, Jan 6: The police arrested two drug- peddlers along with charas in Rajouri City here today.
A police spokesman said that two peddlers namely, Mukesh Kumar, son of Sita Ram, resident of Dassal and Amir Hussain, son of Aslam Hussain, resident of Bella in Rajouri were arrested and seven Challies of charas, weighing 110 grams was recovered from them.
The accused after interception tried to flee the spot but the alert police party from Police Post Rajouri City caught them on the spot.
A case FIR No. 05/2024 Under Section 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri. Further investigation into the matter is going on.
