PDP demands deletion of M Forms for migrants

Jammu, Feb 2: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Minority Wing in its meeting here today has expressed grave concern over failure of the State Government in deletion of M Forms for migrant voters.
The meeting, which was held under the presidentship of Ashok Sidha held threadbare discussion regarding the burning problems of displaced people from Valley including non inclusion of and correction of voter list which is pending for last six months.
Addressing the meeting Mr Sidha said it is because of the non seriousness of ruling dispensation and the departments concerned that these issues have not been addressed.
He in an appeal to Election Commission of India demanded immediate deletion of M Forms which is a cumbersome process and debars the maximum migrants from exercising their right to vote.
The meeting resolved to strengthen the PDP and work for the victory of party candidates in coming Lok Sabha elections.
Mr Sidha also constituted Media Cell of the Party comprising of Durga Nath Bhat, Deepak Goja, Manoj Koul and H K Kachroo. Others who addressed the meeting included M K Bhat (retd) Dy SP, Anju Bhan, Nana Ji Wattal, D N Pandita, B B Sadhu and Ashok Dhar.
