JAMMU, Jan 7: Police in Domana area here claimed today they have arrested an individual who was evading his arrest in an accident case for the past three years.
Sumeet Singh of Village Jaswan Paryal, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 364/2021 Under Section 279 and 337 of the IPC registered at Police Station Domana.
A warrant of arrest against the accused Under Section 299 CrPC was issued by the Court of Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu.
On getting information about the accused today, a team of Police Station Domana led by SHO concerned raided the suspected place and arrested the accused.
The accused would be produced before the court of law now for future course of action.
