Mahakali Sewa Samiti Tral reconstituted

JAMMU, Jan 7: A meeting of Biradri members of Tral town, belonging to KP community was held here, today to elect new office bearers and executive members of Mahakali Sewa Samiti.
The meeting decided to bring Mahakali Asthapan and other temples in Tral town to its pristine glory and as well to take care of all immovable property.
The meeting elected Jawahar Lal Pandita as president of the committee. Chaman Lal Pandita was elected its vice president, Bharat Indu Pandita as general secretary, Ramesh Kumar Pandita as treasurer, Chaman Lal Pandita as publicity secretary, Ashok Kumar Raina as joint secretary and Vinod Kumar Raina as store keeper.
It also elected six members to Executive which included Maharaj Krishan Pandit, Gopal Krishan Pandit, Ashwani Raina, Vidya Dhar, Bansi Lal Pandita and Ramesh Koul.
Meanwhile in another statement, Dr Ramesh Bhat president Shrines and Temples Prabandhak Committee Tral -Awantipora made it clear that Nawdal Committee is subsidiary of the Tral Awantipora Prabhandak Committee.
