UDHAMPUR, Jan 7: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), today announced the formation of Block Jaganoo unit in Udhampur district.
The newly formed unit comprises Subash Chander Sharma as Block President, Hans Raj Thakur as Vice President, Ch Shamasdin as Block Secretary & Block President ST Cell along with Ch Farman Ali as Joint Secretary, Ch Chattu as Block Secretary ST Cell Gujjar Bakkarwal.
The unit was constituted in the presence of NC District President Sunil Verma, District Secretary Capt Pavitar Singh, District President Ex-Servicemen Cell, Capt Balbir Singh, Ch Farooq Mohd Khatana and youth leader Akash Verma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Verma appealed the newly appointed office bearers to work diligently and strengthen the hands of party leaders Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. He hoped that the newly constituted unit will play a vital role in promoting the party’s vision and policies within the district.
